Berkeley Races at Woodford is a fun sporting day out for the whole family in the picturesque Berkeley Vale countryside, with the 12th century Berkeley Castle providing a backdrop to the course. Berkeley Races delivers the best of British amateur horseracing over jumps, alongside many more countryside, food and family attractions.
Berkeley Races 2025 will be held on Saturday 26th April. Alongside the seven competitive races, we also offer pony racing, Feature Race, parade of the Berkeley Hunt Hounds, kid’s zone, food court, bar tent and trade stands.
Gates open for this action-packed day at 10am, with pony racing from 12 noon and the first race at 2pm. The racecourse is situated at Woodford, near Berkeley (GL13 9JU), which will be clearly signposted and accessed from the A38 at Stone; 3 miles north of J14 of the M5.
